A Brand Path That Starts From Proven Platforms

Launching a brand does not require inventing a shoe. The private label route starts from platforms the cluster already runs in production — proven lasts, proven makes — and puts your material choices, your logo and your box on them. The brand is yours; the development risk is not.

The path

From catalog to a branded first drop in four steps

A proven platform is a last and make that already runs in the cluster's production — fitted, costed and repeatable. Building a brand on one means the questions that usually sink a first drop — will the last fit, will the make hold, will the cost land — have already been answered in production, not promised in a catalog.

  1. Choose base platforms from the catalog

Select the styles and lasts that fit your market — oxfords to dress boots, each already in production on an existing last.

  2. Customize material, finish and color

Specify the upper by grade code — FG, TG, SP or NB — plus finish and lining, so the platform reads as your line, not a catalog page.

  3. Apply logo and packaging

Deboss, foil, badge or label on the shoe; your design on the box, tissue and hangtags. Methods and minimums are set out under Customization & Branding.

  4. Launch with a pilot order

The first production run starts at 50–100 pairs per style, mixed sizes — enough for a real launch, shallow enough to learn from.

What the program includes

The five elements, and what each carries

A private label program is the same specification discipline as any program on this site — grade by code, construction by name, branding by method — wrapped in your brand.

Element What we provide Typical minimums
Base lasts Existing cluster lasts across the seven style families — no last development required Available to the program from selection
Upper material Full-grain (FG), top-grain (TG), split & suede (SP) and nubuck (NB), specified by grade code Quoted per grade on the program spec
Logo application Deboss, foil stamp, metal badge or woven label — method set at counter sample From pilot orders (50–100 pairs) on shared tooling
Packaging Box, tissue and hangtags to your design Box printing indicative from 500–1,000 boxes
Pilot order First production run per style under your brand, with sampling before commitment 50–100 pairs per style, mixed sizes

Indicative figures for planning purposes — binding quotation upon specification.

Where the brand stands

Yours is yours; the platform is licensed

The boundary is written into the program. Your brand assets — mark, colors, packaging design — stay yours, used only for your production. The base platforms are licensed to your program for its term: the lasts and makes behind your line are not resold to another buyer as your samples, and your specification is not quoted around the cluster under a different logo.

What you build on the platform — your material choices, your colorways, your branding — is your specification, documented on the program spec sheet and binding on every order that follows.

Who it fits

  • Retailers launching an own label alongside buying lines
  • E-commerce brands building a branded range on tested depth
  • Distributors building a regional brand for their market
