Wholesale Men's Leather Brogue Shoes
Perforated detailing on three formality levels — full, semi and quarter brogue — built on the same Goodyear and Blake platforms as the rest of the range. The decoration sets the style; the construction sets the price.
Broguing is decoration applied to the upper: rows of small perforations and serrated edges worked into the seams. The grading runs in three steps. The full brogue carries a wing-shaped toe panel, the wingtip. The semi-brogue pairs a straight cap toe with a punched medallion. The quarter brogue keeps the perforated cap seam and drops the medallion, which puts it closest to a plain formal.
The style reads on a spectrum from country to city. The perforations began as drainage holes for wet country ground, and heavier country brogues still trade on that texture. In city proportions the same detailing moves down the dress ladder: a quarter brogue in dark calf passes with suiting, while a suede brogue lands closer to weekend wear. One family, several formality settings.
What broguing does not change is structure. The perforations live in the upper; strength, water resistance and repairability still come from the platform underneath. Price bands follow that platform, not the decoration — a Goodyear-welted full brogue (YF-BR-2621) sits in the same US$28–50 indicative band as any Goodyear-welted style in this catalog.
The 26 series is arranged on that logic. YF-BR-2621 is the full-brogue hero on full-grain and Goodyear welted. YF-BR-2622 is the semi-brogue volume core on top-grain and Blake, indicatively US$18–30 FOB per pair. YF-BR-2623 is the suede version for seasonal capsules at the Blake price point.
